Hehehe, we had a similar reaction when they showed a rather graphic childbirth video in our reproduction lectures. It's a good job I didn't want children in the first place!
I thought I'd be prepared after a lifetime of hearing about childbirth, but nothing really readies you for the *inelegance* of it. Hollywood, YOU LOSE.
(And, I was sooo not ready to see that episiotomy)
My high school biology teacher regularly showed such a video. She always called it a more effective form of birth control than those silly sex ed/health classes we had to take;)
Could be worse. I remember opening a photo album and discovering that my parents had immortalized my brother's birth in a way I had never wanted to know about.
