After all, it is National Free Hugs Day

Today was a Not Good day. I was fine last night, after a good therapy session and productive work and the sighting of a rainbow AND planet Jupiter within a few hours of each other.

Then something went off. There was anxiety and sleep problems, and I woke today in the mid-afternoon. Had to talk myself out of bed, made it to lab, but then was incapable of concentrating on my work. Feeling lonely and wretched I decided to go home, and then by my bus stop I saw a hundred high school students with signs offering, "FREE  HUGS!!!!!!!"

DAMN, I needed that :)

After a domestic incident in the Spuffy community, I'm seeing virtual hugs popping up on my friends list, and I'm amused to note that it seems to have arisen independently of the national (meat-space) hug-vending phenomenon taking place today. I'm not complaining. I'm just happy that if I had to pick a day when I needed hugs, it was this one.
